Inspiring the imagination
As a creative, my tastes can range from the sublime to the absurd. Here are a few things that bring me joy and spark my creativity.
My love for all things Scottish comes from a family affiliation with Clan MacNeil of Barra. I take the clan motto—‘To conquer or die’—to heart in all my endeavours, figuratively speaking of course.
Books inspire, nourish and sustain, so reading is a much–enjoyed daily ritual for me and I dream of owning a library such as this.
I have been engaged in the fine and performing arts since childhood and currently sing in the University Chorus, which is quite possibly why I am well–versed (pun very much intended) in fundraising for the fine arts and humanities.
In Saskatchewan, ‘land of the living skies’, we enjoy spectacular northern lights. While much of my work focuses on humanities, fine arts, social sciences and health, such magnificent displays inspire a profound appreciation for the sciences.
